Das entspricht etwa 400.000 Downloads pro Tag seit der ersten Ver\u00f6ffentlichung von Firefox 1.0 am 9. November 2004. Damit hat Firefox sich innerhalb von weniger als 3 Jahren zu einem der erfolgreichsten Open Source Projekte \u00fcberhaupt entwickelt.<\/p>\n<p>Die Anzahl aktiver Firefox-Anwender betr\u00e4gt nach Angaben von Mozilla Europe derzeit etwa 120 Million weltweit, was einem Marktanteil von etwa 13,5 % entspricht (Quelle: netapplications.com).
