Wieder einmal habe ich völlig ungefragt eine Mail bekommen. Und wieder mal wird ein Service angeboten, der meiner Meinung nach überhaupt nichts bringt. Es geht sich um die Registrierung bei Suchmaschinen.
Das kann man genau so gut selbst machen, wenn es das verwendete System nicht sowieso schon automatisch macht. Beispielsweise WordPress, auf dem Sie hier gerade lesen, meldet sich netterweise selbst, wenn es etwas Neues fürs Web hat. Das Standardsystem hierfür heißt Ping-o-Matic.
Wer wissen will, was die Suchmaschine von der eigenen Webseite hält, meldet sich beispielsweise über die Google Search Console mit seiner Webseite an. Google Account anlegen, Search Console aktivieren, ein kleines Codeschnipsel in die Webseite einfügen – und schon grast Tante Google den Webautritt brav ab. Dazu gibt Google sogar noch jede Menge Tipps, wie man die eigene Webseite verbessern kann und wo Probleme drohen. Analog funktionieren bei Bing die Webmastertools. Der Zeitaufwand liegt jeweils so um die 5 – 10 Minuten.
Dann hätten wir noch Google Places. Gleiches Schema: Anmelden, eintragen, fertig. Das dürfte auch jeder Laie schaffen.
Die ganzen automatischen Anmeldesysteme oder beispielsweise den Eintrag in verschiedene, nachrangige Suchmaschinen halte ich aus Sicht der Suchmaschinenoptimierung für einen ziemlichen Unfug. Auch für den Linkaufbau kommt da nix Vernünftiges bei raus.
Entsprechend kann ich von solch ungefragten Angeboten nur dringend abraten. Teuer und weitgehend wirkungslos.
